Do I have to take classes when I file for an Arizona bankruptcy?
The short answer is yes. However, you should not postpone or be nervous about filing bankruptcy because of the classes. They are short, not graded and can be taken online or over the phone.
There are two mandatory bankruptcy classes. You must take one before filing your class known as the debtor education class. At our firm, we have a contract with a company called CIN Legal, after we register you for the course, you can easily access this information on their website and complete the pre-filing class in about 15 minutes. Pretty painless. And most definitely do-able. The second class is geared towards financial management, this class is taken AFTER we file your bankruptcy, but before the 341 hearing.
When you are our client we provide all of this information in a straight forward set of instructions, and also remind you to take the classes because they are required by law when you file for your Arizona bankruptcy.
