I wasn’t the easiest first consultation. I’d done plenty of research and consulted with others (lawyers, paralegals, people who filed solo etc.) I felt impressed by the time Stephen gave to me. I request information late Friday. Anticipating a response later that week. He called me 1st thing Sat (professional hour 8 or 9 am). He immediately asked the important questions versus building a report…which was exactly what I wanted. Due to his quick non fluffed answers (direct) I was influenced. The hardest thing we've done/Easiest time doing it.

We have been on the fence about going bankrupt for years while we allowed our credit to suffer. Finally we called Stephen and were immediately assured that we are on the right track. Provided me with the leadership I needed after husband's death

Mr. Trezza represented me in my Chapter 7 bankruptcy after my husband committed suicide. The monthly survivor benefits from social security were way below what my husband had been receiving so I could no longer keep up payments to unsecured creditors. Mr. Trezza explained everything to me before I hired him. I would not have been able to handle it all myself even if my brain was not in “reboot” mode after my husband’s suicide. Mr. Trezza’s staff always answered the phone – I never had to leave a voicemail and I was never on hold for any length of time. The staff was able to answer almost all of my questions when I would get confused due to my periodic inability to focus but when they couldn’t they would get back to me with the answer usually later the same day or the next morning at the latest. Often Mr. Trezza would call me himself or send me an email. I live over 100 miles from Mr. Trezza’s Tucson, Arizona office. He utilizes email and other even more secure Internet document transfer software so I never had to go to Tucson until the court date. I am extremely pleased with the smooth way my bankruptcy went. I really needed a highly experienced attorney to lead me through the bankruptcy process while I have been grieving and mourning my husband’s suicide. Mr. Trezza was fantastic.

Incredible guidance and service

After husband was downsized from his job for the 3rd time in 10 years and I was sick and could not work, it became clear that if we wanted to keep our home, bankruptcy had to be considered. No stress, high quality, completely worry free

Mr. Trezza is highly professional from start to finish he took the worry out of the whole process of bankruptcy. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. His services are not cheap, but they were well worth it. After I put in the required footwork of gathering paperwork and paying his fees, the process was almost entirely hands off until the day came for the trustee hearing. All I had to do then was wait, which made me nervous until I started to notice that the people who had gone first in my time slot usually had problems with their paperwork or had not hired an attorney and almost always ended up needing more paperwork or having their tax returns seized from them. At the end of the time slot I was called up and Mr. Trezza came with me, I was asked a few questions and that was the end of it. I got a letter in the mail about a month later saying I was debt free and everything was taken care of and nobody ever threatened my tax returns! I can’t recommend Mr. Trezza enough!

We were newly weds and both had debt then soon lost our jobs 1.5 years after. I was 5 months pregnant. Then bills didn’t get paid due to struggle in getting another good paying job. Did side jobs to survive. Our truck got reposessed. We moved in with family and started recieving collection mail. Saved our marriage and got the boots off our necks

My wife Penny and I had dual surgeries last year and since I’m disabled we had piled up a mountain of debt. In addition we were facing foreclosure from a lender that was telling us something different every time we contacted them. After looking at all our options we decided to take up Atty. Trezza offer of a free consultation. He patiently listened to all the details of our situation, answered our questions and pointed out several areas that if we had overlooked would have put us in a ‘world of hurt’.

In our situation it was difficult to spend money to pay for the bankruptcy services especially since I’m such a DIY kind of person but after discussing things with my wife we decided it was far too important and risky to try DIY with our situation.

When we started our bankruptcy proceedings, we were a bit apprehensive and nervous. But, Stephen set us at ease by assuring us that he would take care of everything for us as long as we followed his instructions and reported all of our creditors. He didn’t bully us to hire him; he let us know in advance what the consequences would be and we were pleased to accept him and his staff to represent us.

We had several meetings with him and his staff in order to gather all of the material we needed to file for bankruptcy. The meetings were brief and concise; we left the office with our instructions and went to work. He let us know what we had to sell and what we could keep. He gave us the date that we would file for Chapter Seven Bankruptcy. In our case, we had to extend that date due to a financial transaction beyond our control that occurred during our waiting period.

We were a little uneasy when we went for our meeting with our Trustee. As we sat in the waiting room, we watched several other people be processed with the Trustee. One person forgot her Social Security Card; another person was stranded without his attorney attending the meeting; and yet another person was with his attorney, but the attorney had his client’s information incorrect.

Of course, we had a million questions about how this process works. But we were pleasantly pleased that when we called the office, the staff was very knowledgeable and they were not in a rush to hang up. All of our emails were responded to in a timely manner and we felt that even if the question was silly, they respected us with a clear and accurate reply.

We made sure we brought our Social Security Card and our Driver’s License just like the Trustee wrote in his letter to us. Our attorney showed up on time and we were interviewed by the Trustee without any problem. Our attorney representative had all of the answers for which the Trustee had asked. Our meeting with the Trustee was completed in five-minutes without a hitch!

We highly recommend Stephen Trezza, his attorneys, and his staff; they worked together as one unit keeping us informed with all of the updated laws of bankruptcy! We followed his advice and now we are on our way to restore our credit without the debt we had!
